Joining the club

It seems most people I know now have blogs, so it was bound to happen sooner or later. Hopefully I will find a way to make this useful and serve as a way to keep in touch with friends since I am now a recluse. Being a working mom has forced me into hiding it seems. Besides, it might be kind of a fun thing to do at the end of my day. So here it goes...
