Desert Babies

I'm endeavoring to do a little catchup again on the past month. The big event in Vegas was the Great Snowstorm of '08! Which basically amounted to a little slushy rain where I live in town. But I was determined that the boys should experience it.

As you can see Michael was thinking, "What the heck is this?"

He soaked himself jumping on the trampoline covered in slush. He surprises me sometimes. He has to change his socks of he steps in something a little bit wet, but he loved jumping in cold raining slush!

Jacob was pretty unimpressed and just kept trying to take his rocks inside to play with, since it was apparently much too severe of weather for him to play outside.

"Ahh yes" he says, "this is much better."

When Mark got home from school he took some snow off the car and built a little snowman. They played with it until it melted. My poor desert babies don't know what to do with cold wet stuff. Someday they will experience real winter, but it won't be this year I guess.

You can come up and take as much snow as you like! Mark is a good dad to come in and make a snow man for them.
