Don't Judge Me

Jacob fell in love with these shoes at the store, really in love, he still loves them and takes great pride in them. I think they are completely hideous. But in the inward struggle at the store, Mark and I succumbed to the part of us that wanted to make our little boy happy. Next time I will just lie and say, "sorry sweetheart, they don't have your size".
Oh, and yes they do light up. Red lights in fact. I think the red makes them much more classy.

I allowed Jackson to have light up Cars shoes, and light up Spiderman shoes. I never thought I would do it, but the look on his face when he tried them on, forced me into it. They brought him so much joy and happiness.

There are many things I said I would never do and I have done! And yes...character/light up shoes are at the top of the list. I haven't succumbed to it...yet!

Good job Rachel! To a little boy nothing is greater than character shoes that light up. Simple joys.

Oh and be grateful for the character shoe prices while you can. :0)

Yes, I gave in to that a few years ago when Sophie noticed light-up Disney Princess sandals that she HAD to have. The joy was enough to melt my heart!
